BURBANK, Calif. - Californer -- Local As Can Bee, a national online co-op that provides a secondary income for small businesses by developing new or existing products to sell online, has launched its membership model program for local entrepreneurs.
The company was founded during the pandemic when Burbank businesswoman, politician, and activist, Carmenita Helligar, saw how local small businesses struggled to survive. She responded by developing Local As Can Bee, which empowers local businesses to succeed online with expert support, guidance, and resources that allow brick and mortar stores to generate new streams of revenue that fuel their physical stores and strengthen their local economies through an online marketplace.
The launch of the membership model helps small businesses generate income and reduce time and extra costs by offering a multitude of services under one membership fee. Services include marketing and advertising, shipping and fulfillment, product development, training, and more.
