The all-female creative team behind independent feature To the New Girl releases an official trailer for the bold anthology film.
HOLLYWOOD, Calif. - Californer -- The team behind To the New Girl today released the independent feature film's official trailer. The bold anthology film follows ten women scorned as they address their ex's new lover during an open mic night.

To the New Girl is based on the critically-acclaimed play of the same name by Samantha Macher. The team behind the film is comprised almost entirely of female filmmakers--its directors, writer, producer, cinematographer, entire cast, and almost the entire crew are women.

"Our production company wanted to make a film that focused on women both in front of and behind the camera, and To the New Girl was a perfect fit because it speaks to so many women's issues and has an all-female cast," said producer Laura Hunter Drago.
To the New Girl is currently being submitted to film festivals for the Fall 2019 - Spring 2020 season.
