Young Actors Are Invited to Audition for The Summer Production of Matilda Jr. at The Phantom Projects Theatre at La Habra Depot and The Chance to Participate in a No Fee/No Tuition Summer Performing Arts Camp
LA HABRA, Calif. - Californer -- Calling Talented Young Actors!
The Phantom Projects Theatre Group is giving young actors aged 8 to 18 the opportunity to act out their passion and bring the beloved characters from Roald Dahl's classic "Matilda" to life. This is an incredible chance for young performers of all experience levels to immerse themselves in a live theater performance. Auditions will be held on June 1 and June 2 at The City of La Habra Community Center. This opportunity also affords those selected to participate in the theatre group's 3-week performing arts intensive summer camp at absolutely no cost for the full day, 3-week-long experience.
Audition Dates and Times: June 1st and June 2nd, 2024 10:30AM-2PM

More than just a live theater production, this is a three-week musical theater summer camp intensive that gives performers (ages 8-18) the opportunity to experience putting together a fully staged production, with professional sets and costumes, in just 3 weeks!
Performers are cast in the program/production based on audition, and cast size will be limited. If selected to be part of the cast, no fees are required to participate in the production or the 3-week summer camp, just sheer passion! This is a significant underwriting from The Phantom Projects Theatre Group and showcases their commitment to nurturing young talent and providing enriching experiences in the performing arts.
How to Audition:
Participants should be prepared to perform 16 bars (or 45-60 seconds) of a musical theatre song that makes you shine and shows your range and personality! Interested performers must register online to audition at https://thephantomprojectstheatre.com/auditions.
