Local portable storage community leader offers a convenient way to pack away summer, reclaim space and create a cozy home for the season ahead
VENTURA, Calif. - Californer -- As summer gear makes way for fall gatherings, cooler weather and more time spent at home, PODS Moving & Storage is helping local residents reset their spaces and get organized for the season ahead.
Beginning October 5, PODS Local is partnering with Old School 104.7 FM to launch The Great PODS Fall Refresh, a two-week giveaway inviting listeners to show off a space in their home that is ready for a seasonal refresh and share how they would transform it for fall.
One winner will receive a PODS Cozy Fall Storage Package, including a PODS storage container for three months and a $500 gift card to add those cozy finishing touches — from warm blankets and seasonal décor to lighting, pillows and other items that help make a house feel ready for fall.
A More Convenient Way to Make Space
For many homeowners, seasonal organization can quickly become a game of moving boxes, furniture and gear from one room to another. Traditional self-storage can also mean renting a truck, loading it, driving to a facility, and unloading everything again.

PODS offers a different approach.
A PODS container is delivered directly to the customer's home, allowing belongings to be loaded on their schedule. When ready, the container can remain conveniently on-site where permitted or be transported to a PODS Storage Center, helping eliminate much of the back-and-forth associated with traditional self-storage.
That flexibility can be especially helpful during a fall home reset. Residents can pack away patio accessories, beach gear, sports equipment, seasonal items, extra furniture and other belongings while they organize, rearrange, redecorate or prepare the home for visiting family and friends.
The Great PODS Fall Refresh
The Great PODS Fall Refresh runs October 5 through October 18, 2026. To enter, listeners can visit Old School 104.7, submit a photo of the space they would like to refresh and share how they would reimagine it for fall.
In addition to the giveaway, PODS is offering special fall storage offers for local residents, making it easier to pack away summer and get the home organized for the months ahead.
