PLANO, Texas - Californer -- QinFlow Inc. has been awarded a group purchasing agreement for Patient Warming – Blood and Fluid Warming with Premier, Inc. Effective January 15, 2022, the new agreement allows Premier members, at their discretion, to take advantage of special pricing and terms pre-negotiated by Premier for high performance, aluminum free blood and fluid warming devices for the entire continuum of care.
"We are thrilled that Premier has chosen to award QinFlow a national agreement. This agreement will provide healthcare organizations access to our next-generation blood and IV fluid warming technology, which has been perfected to meet the demanding needs of Emergency Rooms, Trauma Bays, Operating Rooms, and Intensive Care Units," said Ariel Katz, Chief Executive Officer. He added, "This agreement provides an excellent opportunity for hospitals to bridge the supply gap that is associated with recent recalls of aluminum-based warmers as well as the severe shortage of consumables imposed by the pandemic." Mr. Katz concluded that "This agreement between QinFlow and Premier will help accomplish QinFlow's mission to ensure that blood and fluid are warmed prior to administering them to patients so as to combat hypothermia."

The Warrior Modular System offers several configurations, that are optimized to specific hospitals settings. For example, the Warrior Hybrid configuration, that provides both battery and AC power source options, typically serves Emergency Departments and Trauma Bays, while the Warrior AC configuration typically serves Operating Rooms and Intensive Care Units. All Warrior configurations utilize the same Compact Disposable Unit, thus facilitating patient handoff between settings and reducing costs (i.e., the same disposable travels with the patient to the next level of care). The Warrior's key benefits include high performance, immediate warming, unique bolus-flow handling capability, portability, simplicity of operations, nearly zero maintenance (5 years between service calls), and a complete continuum of care proposition, to name just a few.
Premier is a leading healthcare improvement company, uniting an alliance of more than 4,400 U.S. hospitals and 225,000 other providers to transform healthcare. With integrated data and analytics, collaboratives, supply chain solutions, and consulting and other services, Premier enables better care and outcomes at a lower cost.
