Rap Mogul J Prince who is the owner of Rap-A-Lot Records, joined the Vancouver Podcast "I Only Touch Greatness" with Ryan Haze, B-Style and Prince Allen.
LOS ANGELES - Californer -- Rap Mogul J Prince who is the owner of Rap-A-Lot Records, joined the Vancouver Podcast "I Only Touch Greatness" with Ryan Haze, B-Style and Prince Allen.
Jas Prince stopped by the podcast to talk his childhood and growing up wanting to not be poor. He went on to own one of the most successful record lables of all time. He tells many great stories on this interview including telling the stories how he helped Megan The Stallion get out of her contract issues she was having. He talks about how the group Geto Boys formed, and gave a medical update on Scarface.

He also tells the story about how he was in his tour bus heading home when he heard that The Notorious BIG, and Puff was in LA and how he called them to warn them about the trouble that was waiting in LA. Which as we know turned out deadly.
J Prince then goes on to talk about the late Pimp C, and NBA Youngboy stories. He then talks about how he spends his money and starting his Liquor company and Loyalty Wines.
He talks about almost having 2pac signed to Rap-A-Lot before Suge Knight got him and that he would still be alive is he signed with Rap-a-Lot instead of Death Row.
He talks about finding Drake and how he didn't think he was good, so he gave him to Lil Wayne and he didn't like him either till a colabo came out and they both was like damn we need to sign this guy.
