SAN FRANCISCO, July 9, 2024 ~ Robertson Stephens Wealth Management, LLC ("Robertson Stephens") has recently announced a strategic expansion in the Pacific Northwest through a partnership with Rain Capital, an SEC-registered investment advisor. Rain Capital currently manages over $360 million in advisory assets and is led by co-founders David Reichle and Ellen Kim.
As part of this partnership, Reichle and Kim will join Robertson Stephens as Managing Directors & Principals, along with their colleagues Chris Abbruzzese, Jamie Iversen, Luz Garcia, and Wendy Maroun. This addition brings Robertson Stephens' total advisory assets to over $6 billion across 21 locations in California, New York, Idaho, New Jersey, Texas, Washington, Colorado, Massachusetts, Wyoming, Connecticut and now Oregon.

Bhattacharyya also expressed excitement about opening their first office in Oregon as part of this expansion. Reichle shared his thoughts on the partnership saying that after extensive due diligence they found Robertson Stephens to be the best fit for their firm's growth plans. Kim echoed Reichle's sentiments stating that partnering with Robertson Stephens will allow them to refocus on their clients' needs. Reichle brings over 25 years of portfolio management and advisory experience to Robertson Stephens. He was previously the Chief Portfolio Strategist and Chief Compliance Officer at Rain Capital. Prior to co-founding Rain Capital, Reichle was a co-founder, President and Chief Investment Officer of Pacific Investment Advisors (PIA). He holds a B.A. in Economics from the University of Delaware.
Kim's financial industry background spans over 20 years and includes roles in advisory, financial planning, analytics, and performance measurement. She served as the Chief Operating Officer at Rain Capital and was responsible for overseeing the firm's day-to-day operations. Kim holds an M.B.A. in Finance from the University of Portland and a B.S. in Finance and HR Management from Portland State University.
