More on The Californer
Replacing the original swing and shade structure that was installed in 2010, the new playground has resilient rubber surfacing and two main play areas for all ages of youth.

The structure for 2-5-year-olds has a clubhouse, climber, slide, and shade canopy. The structure for 5-12-year-olds features a 18-foot tower, four slides, climbing walls, large spinner, swings and two shade canopies.

Community input began in March 2020 with approval of the equipment design and funds from the Coleman Bond Project and Construction & Conveyance funds.

This development is a collaboration between Councilmember Maya Esparza, the Parks, Recreation and Neighborhood Services Department, the Public Works Department, Seven Trees Neighborhood Association, and the District 7 community.
