This event provides a unique opportunity for residents to engage directly with knowledgeable community leaders and available City services and community resources for San José's young people and families.

There will be a variety of workshops including:
  • Mental Health: The Impacts on Youth, Trends and Resources
  • Healthy Relationships: Defining Boundaries
  • Empowering Youth: Knowing Your Rights
  • Parent Support Strategies: Building Resilience to Manage Stressors
  • Community & Neighborhood Safety Strategies
  • Drug Awareness
  • Impacts of Trauma on Families and Communities
Register to participate in this year's summit – all ages are welcome. Lunch and children's activities will be provided.

SJ YEA is a strategy committed to preventing youth violence, delivering intervention, diversion, re-entry and healing strategies to relieve youth, families, schools and neighborhoods from experiencing violence and crime.
