SACRAMENTO, Calif. - Californer -- Senior Living FORESIGHT, a premier content creator is hosting a virtual 3-day summit August 11, 12, and 13 to provide senior living leaders an opportunity for in-depth exploration of relevant technology.
During the coronavirus lockdown, senior living providers were challenged to reduce high-touch, close-contact methods of resident engagement, staff communications, scheduling, medical consultations, and the like. The Summit will allow attendees to explore sector-specific tech products and services.
Representatives will be on hand from such companies as Phillips, Paymerang, Lumenant, Amazon, and Walmart Labs. Connected Living will introduce Temi, a system's integration and personal service robot; while Akara Robotics will present its social robot platform, Stevie. Time Magazine named both 2019 "Invention of the Year". The Ceca Foundation, which "honors the work of exceptional caregivers", will grant an award to a nominee submitted at the Summit by attendees.

Additionally, selected speakers will address such subjects as tech implementation, trends, telehealth, AI, and labor force recruitment and management, and will include Conor McGinn, Akara's head engineer, and Sheri Rose, Executive Director of Thrive Center, a nonprofit innovation organization focused on wellness and aging.
The Summit is Senior Living FORESIGHT (http://seniorlivingforesight.net/)'S second virtual conference and follows its resoundingly successful "Our Time to Shine" program in April this year that drew over 1,000 participants to its 5-days of sessions. It focused on the effects of COVID-19 on the industry, now and in the future, and featured such long-term care luminaries as Bob Kramer of NIC and Ken Dychtwald of Agewave.
Persons working in senior living or eldercare services are encouraged to attend. Registration is now open and accessible at seniorlivingforesight.net/tech (https://www.seniorlivingforesight.net/tech-summit-august-2020/).
