The Kind Mind Festival with special celebrity guest Kristin Kreuk, aims to raise awareness for children and youth mental health while providing a platform for community engagement and support.
DELTA, British Columbia - Californer -- Vancouver Film and TV actor, Kristin Kreuk (Smallville, Beauty and the Beast, Burden of Truth) will be making a special appearance on May 18th from 12-1pm for the Kelty Foundation's Kind Mind Festival supporting children and youth mental health. Sponsored by Central Walk's Tsawwassen Mills the festival will take place at Entrance 3 at Tsawwassen Mills.
Kristin will be on stage at 12pm for a free LIVE Q & A followed by autograph signing and photographs for ticket holders. All proceeds will go to support The Kelty Foundation and the Kelty Mental Health Resource Center at BC Children's Hospital.
Following her special appearance, the free KIND MIND festival will run from 1-5 pm and includes a performance by two time JUNO Nominee Warren Dean Flandez, Top Line Vocal Collective, a Tsawwassen Mills Retailer Fashion Show and other Community Celebrations with Host DJ Rachel Rock N' Beau! The Kelty Foundation, named after Kelty Patrick Dennehy, was founded by Kerry and Ginny Dennehy after the loss of their son to depression and later his sister Riley. The foundation's mission is to fund organizations dedicated to reaching and supporting youth when they need it most.
