ORANGE COUNTY, Calif. - May 17, 2019 - Californer -- Snell & Wilmer is pleased to announce that Orange County and Los Angeles partner Elizabeth Weldon has been designated a Certified Specialist in Franchise and Distribution Law by The State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization.
The State Bar of California's Legal Specialization program certifies legal specialists who have gone beyond the standard licensing requirements. It was the first of its kind in the United States, created for the purposes of increasing public protection and encouraging attorney competence. To be certified, attorneys must take and pass a written examination in their specialty area, demonstrate a high level of experience in the specialty area, and practice continuously in the area. They must fulfill greater continuing legal education requirements and be favorably evaluated by other attorneys and judges familiar with their work.
