New Girl Pictures' latest scripted podcast project follows the disturbing and mysterious happenings at a Catholic school.

LOS ANGELES - Californer -- New Girl Pictures today released their newest project, a scripted podcast series called St. Mary's School (for children with the stigmata).

The series follows Florence, a now-adult alumna of St. Mary's School, who is still living with the literal and figurative scars from her time there. When a group of other students with similarly scary experiences with the school appears online, Florence decides to dive deeper. What she finds is worse than she could have ever imagined.

"I'm a podcast junkie, and am seriously excited about everything I've learned so far about working in this medium with these exceptionally creative collaborators. I hope that people become as addicted to this creepy tale as I am to other scary podcasts, and that it helps make the Halloween season a little spookier (if you like that kind of thing)," said Samantha Macher, writer of St. Mary's.

"It's really exciting for us to step into the podcast world, which is growing so rapidly and provides a fantastic outlet for innovate storytelling," said producer Laura Hunter Drago, who also voices the character of Florence in the series. "This series is really fun for both Samantha and myself as we met many years ago when we attended the same Catholic high school—which, to be clear, was not anywhere near as mysterious and scary as St. Mary's!"

St. Mary's features voice actors Laura Hunter Drago, Lexington Vanderberg, Ginger T. Rex, Emma A. Gould, and Bianca Nkwonta. Episodes run about 15 minutes long and will be released on a bi-weekly schedule.

The series' first two episodes, out of a ten episode first season, are now available wherever podcasts are listened to.
