The first basic cable network, founded in 1973, is now a 24/7 streaming post cable network on the WatchYour.TV platform, powered by Tulix. The channel features TVS Sports Network programming from 1960-1985, plus classic TV sports. from 1948.

CANTIL, Calif. - Californer -- TVS Classic Sports Network, the first basic cable network, has added a package of classic college basketball games to the 2022 Winter schedule. Now a post cable network on the WatchYour.TV platform, powered by Tulix, these games can be seen on all Mobile and IPTV devices as well as on Smart TVs in 85% of TV homes in the USA.

TVS Classic Sports Network began as All Sports All Day in 1973 for basic cable systems. Predating satellites, All Sports All Day aired via video tape. In 1976, All Sports All Day served up the first live national commercial cablecast, a WHA Ice Hockey Game between the Birmingham Bulls and the Edmonton Oilers. The show featured 16 advertisers from the Young and Rubicam Agency, which partnered on the project.

College basketball games added include games with DePaul, Notre Dame, Virginia, UCLA, Missouri, St. John's, Georgetown, Villanova, Syracuse, Ohio St, Indiana, Kentucky and LSU.

TVS Television Network was founded in 1960 and has produced thousands of national sports shows including WFL Football, NASL Soccer, LPBT Bowling, IWA Wrestling, AIAW Championships, World University Games, Championship Boxing, Virginia Slims Tennis, ABA Basketball, College Football Bowl Games, and ATP Tennis. All appear on the TVS Classic Sports Network.
