Podcast Network CEO and Veteran Host Tony Sweet and Producer Robert Hensley have developed a Virtual 3-day, 12-hour Creative Intensive to Teach the Basics of Podcast Production

LOS ANGELES - Californer -- Tony Sweet, CEO of the podcasting and livestreaming UBNGo Network and host of the TRUTH BE TOLD podcast, has developed a new Weekend Podcasting Basics Workshop with producer Robert Hensley. The 3-day, 12-hour workshop, which is scheduled for Friday-Sunday, September 24-26 via Zoom will provide an intensive look at the process of creating a podcast from developing the concept, all phases of production, distribution, and marketing. The pair previously developed the curriculum for a student internship program, which they have reworked for this workshop.

"So many people I talk to are interested in podcasting, in starting their own podcast" shares Sweet. "However, very few of them have any idea of what it takes or where to start. Producing a podcast isn't as easy it might seem. Then, I hear about these same people spending thousands of dollars with a producer or network they didn't need to spend. They end up in the hole without a podcast to show for it. We wanted to develop a workshop to help people get a solid start, to learn what they need to do and how to do it."

The Weekly Podcasting Basics Workshop will provide all participants at the Silver level ($500) with an organized workshop outline, digital handouts, case studies and resource guides with links, as well as invitations to exclusive Clubhouse events with guest speakers. Those participants who choose to reserve a spot at the Gold level ($750) with an additional half-hour pitch document consultation with Sweet and/or Hensley. Those who reserve at the Platinum level ($1000) will also receive one hour of remote studio time from UBNGo Network to record their pilot episode.

"There are a lot of sharks in the water," says Hensley. "We don't want to see people being taken advantage of by people who don't have the skills or knowledge to help them. Tony brings nearly two decades of experience in this medium – pretty much from the inception of podcasting - to this workshop; as a host and a network owner. I've hosted a successful podcast and produced several others, and I bring in ten years of experience as an award-winning writer and filmmaker. We know how to produce a podcast."
