The DiSTI Corporation receives order from the U.S. Army to develop Diagnostic Troubleshooting Trainers (DTT) for the Joint Light Tactical Vehicle (JLTV).
ORLANDO, Fla. - Californer -- The DiSTI Corporation has received a $10M delivery order to provide virtual training solutions for the United States Army and Army National Guard.
The company will provide Diagnostic Troubleshooting Trainers (DTT) for the Joint Light Tactical Vehicle (JLTV) along with classroom hardware as part of the Family of Maintenance Trainers (FMT) initiative.
"The JLTV offers the warfighter the ability to accomplish their mission in a wide range of terrains and battle spaces," stated John Hayward, CEO. "DiSTI is dedicated to providing solutions that will improve training for joint services personnel on this advanced and complex vehicle."
The total solution will extend the current JLTV DTT prototype lessons to include a total of 200 maintenance and troubleshooting lessons and procedures. The virtual training solutions developed by DiSTI provide a realistic and practical training experience for soldiers. These lessons allow the student to train in an advanced 3D learning environment to gain the end-to-end skills required for vehicle maintainers.

Installation of classrooms featuring the JLTV DTT trainers will occur in Ft. Lee, Virginia, and 13 Army National Guard and Reserve training sites across the continental United States and Hawaii.
The Joint Light Tactical Vehicle (JLTV) provides protected, sustained, and networked mobility for personnel and payloads across the full spectrum of military operations. The Family of Maintenance Trainers (FMT) is a program developed by the U.S. Army to establish a Common Core (CC) software baseline to replace its current stove-piped software architecture with a solution adaptable to address new and emerging technologies for future training needs.
