NORCROSS, Ga. - Californer -- The COVID-19 pandemic has produced huge challenges for healthcare process improvement experts, leading to innovative ideas that can improve patient care and streamline procedures.
Those ideas and expertise will be shared at the first virtual Healthcare Systems Process Improvement (HSPI) Conference on Feb. 24-26. Sponsored by the Society for Health Systems (SHS) – one of three societies of the Institute of Industrial and Systems Engineers (IISE) – HSPI 2021 offers a variety of education and networking opportunities.
Preconference workshops on Feb. 24 lead off a packed program of presentation tracks ranging from human factors, leadership and change management to quality and patient safety, research and sustainability. Also included are various awards, including the President's Award winners, scholarship awards and top teams in the SHS Student Simulation Competition sponsored by FlexSim.
