Help send our ill and injured Warriors home for the holidays to be surrounded with family and loved ones!
SAN DIEGO - Californer -- In a proud annual tradition that embodies the spirit of the season and our nation's enduring patriotism, Warrior Foundation Freedom Station and our partners at iHeart Radio, CBS 8, Armstrong & Getty, and, for the second consecutive year, SeaWorld San Diego, are raising funds to fly our ill and injured Warriors "Home for the Holidays!" For those that are ill and injured while serving our country and facing the challenges of recovery, rehabilitation, and the transition to civilian life, there is no greater gift than being home with family during this special time of year.
In addition to providing flights home, Warrior Foundation Freedom Station assists ill and injured Warriors year-round through a variety of programs, including adaptive sports, outdoor therapy, Dress for Success, vocational training, education scholarships, career guidance, and more. In addition to these programs, we provide transitional housing at our three Freedom Stations, giving ill and injured Warriors the time, guidance, and resources they need to successfully transition from military service to civilian life.

"For a Warrior recovering from a serious illness or injury, coming home for the holidays gives them a chance to be surrounded by their family and loved ones. When they return, they are recharged, refocused, and have a deeper commitment to their own transitional goals," said Andrew Gasper, CEO of Warrior Foundation Freedom Station. "That's why this annual "Home for the Holidays" Give-A-Thon matters so much."
Tune in on Thursday, November 5, 2026, from 6 am to 6 pm on iHeart stations KOGO 600, Sports 760, KGB 101.5, Rock 105.3, and The Patriot 1360 (featuring Armstrong & Getty), as well as CBS 8, as they broadcast live from Freedom Station III. SeaWorld San Diego will also be on site with a special animal to highlight the extraordinary connection between humans and animals, one that often brings hope, joy, healing, and a renewed sense of purpose.
This year, with a donation of $99 or more, donors can receive a pair of SeaWorld San Diego admission tickets to enjoy the park's annual Christmas Celebration. Enjoy more than one million dazzling lights, all-new entertainment including Dolphin Island Christmas, real reindeers, Baby Shark Christmas Adventure, photo opportunities with Santa, and more; or choose to donate your tickets to a Warrior instead. Throughout the Give-A-Thon, donors will also have opportunities to win behind-the-scenes animal encounter experiences at SeaWorld San Diego.
