LOS ANGELES - Californer -- Sporting events are wonderful opportunities to socialize, get in the local spirit, and make new friends. But it is not everyday that one gets an up-close view without an expensive price tag attached to it.
Last weekend, local talk show host, Rosalyn Kahn of "Living Your Best Life with Rosalyn Kahn," had this opportunity at the USC vs. Stanford basketball game in Los Angeles. The host had the opportunity to watch the game on the sidelines and to interview the all-star players.
The event was a celebration for the local Filipino community, and Kahn represents Chow Entertainment, a Filipino network on KXLA. She was surrounded by joyous youth and excited business owners who came out in full force to support their local team, USC.
"It was a great day to see everybody come out in support of the team and have a friendly celebration," said Lissa Pacheco-Chow, Executive Director of Chow Entertainment. The station was certainly impressed by the crowds that came out to enjoy the sport of basketball and the camaraderie that comes with it.

"I was enthralling to watch USC beat Stanford," added Kahn. "I am usually not into sports, but when you watch a game up close like this, you experience all the exhilaration and feelings."
In the end, the home team won, and everybody was jubilant! The crowd went on to enjoy food and Filipino cultural festivities. To learn more about this event, watch Kahn's Youtube channel at: www.youtube.com/RosalynKahn. For more information about Kahn and her activities, visit www.rosalynkahn.com.
