Silicon Valley startup brings AI-assisted writing, narration, translation and publishing into one platform—helping anyone create and share stories across 20 languages.
SAN FRANCISCO - Californer -- YARO Audio Inc. is developing a voice-first storytelling and publishing platform that helps anyone turn spoken ideas into structured stories and multilingual audio, with a launch planned for January 2027.
YARO, a Silicon Valley startup founded by Agradoot Ghatak, a product design leader with 20+ years of experience at NVIDIA, PayPal, and ESPN, is tackling a barrier to storytelling: people have ideas worth sharing, but turning them into published audio often requires multiple tools, specialist skills and significant expense.
YARO brings these capabilities into one connected workflow. Its planned offering combines AI-assisted story development, audio production and publishing across 20 languages, helping creators reach audiences beyond their native language.
More on The Californer
Rather than relying primarily on acquiring finished content, YARO is building tools that enable people to create it. This approach positions the company to grow through creator participation, with each new story potentially serving listeners across multiple language markets.
The planned business model combines listener and creator subscriptions with paid creation, translation and publishing options—connecting recurring revenue opportunities with the needs of both audiences.
YARO's ambition is to make storytelling accessible to more people while building a scalable business around creation, multilingual distribution and listening.
We'll announce further product details and availability ahead of launch.
