VENTURA, Calif. - Californer -- Organizers of the 13th annual Ventura County Farm Day are seeking sponsors for the free event, scheduled for Saturday, April 11, when over 20 Ventura County farms and agricultural businesses will open their doors and invite the public to learn how their food is grown.
"Ventura County Farm Day is a free, all-ages, one-day invitation for people to explore agricultural locations across Ventura County," says Caitlin Paulus Case, executive director of Students for Eco-Education and Agriculture. "Farm Day helps people better understand the journey of our food from field to table while highlighting the uniqueness and abundance of our region. It celebrates the many individuals whose hard work feeds and sustains us, contributing to Ventura County's ranking as the 11th most agriculturally productive county in the nation."
All proceeds from Farm Day sponsorships support SEEAG's cost-free youth and community education programs in Ventura and Santa Barbara counties. "Sponsoring Farm Day is a powerful way to align your brand with local agriculture, sustainability, healthy communities, and accessible, cost-free education," says Case.
