Seeking talented young artists in grades 2nd - 12th in San Diego County
CARLSBAD, Calif. - Californer -- The Carlsbad Oceanside Art League (COAL) is pleased to announce our 27th t Annual children's art exhibition, "Inspire", running, May 1 – May 28, 2023, at the North Coastal Art Gallery managed by the COAL.
COAL is proud to present this juried exhibition of work from local youth artists as a part of the initiative to support the area's budding creatives, the significance of art education, and the value of the visual arts as a vital element of individual and community.
The annual event is open to all young artist's grades 2 through 12 grade art will be selected from the pool of applicants, at the beginning of April, A reception will be hosted in their honor on Saturday, May 13, 2023, showcasing the best of youth art from all around San Diego. We are accepting all 2D works in any medium. Sorry, 3D works are not accepted at this time.

We encourage all teachers who promote the arts, to engage your students in this wonderful opportunity. Your support is paramount to the success of such community programs.
Come meet the artists, and share with the students and families as they experience the opportunity to speak with the public about their art. "It is always a pleasure to sponsor young artists at all levels, elevate their minds and provide them a springboard into their futures in arts. As a non-profit organization, one of our missions is to educate, and outreach into the community, while bringing awareness to the value of art in everyone's lives. The COAL accomplishes those goals, and is proud to provide this opportunity", stated Cheryl Ehlers, COAL President.
