SAN DIEGO - Californer -- This August, Michael Harlow, founder of The Adventure Travelers, is conquering 57 San Diego adventures in 57 hours to honor his 57th birthday in San Diego.

Michael's possible world record adventure will be a carefully timed schedule of San Diego adventures from jumping out of a plane, snorkeling with sharks, Ax throwing, paddle boarding, hiking through rough terrain, biking to kayaking and surfing while attempting a headstand. Michael Harlow plans each adventure in San Diego down to the minute along with a team of adventure assistants to make sure all details are covered.

"I raised my family here in San Diego County and adventuring has always been a staple to our lives. We thought about this kind of celebration years ago and now we are making it happen. My entire family is helping me with everything from driving the vehicle to posting on social media throughout the day. To be honest, I'm super excited about having these epic experiences with not only all these amazing partners but my wife Melissa and my adult kids, Kayla and William," explains Harlow.

The Adventure Travelers are vloggers, storytellers, and world travelers but have a passion for local adventuring in San Diego County. They document their adventures with videos, social media posts, and articles about their experiences. They volunteer their time with 7th graders and explain the importance of local ecosystems. Michael and Melissa appreciate the importance of San Diego's diverse natural spaces, adventures, and tourism economy.
