Intel CEO Lip-Bu Tan and Stanford Dean Arun Majumdar join 17 distinguished honorees recognized for achievements in engineering, technology and innovation.
SANTA CLARA, Calif. - Californer -- The Asian American Engineer of the Year (AAEOY) Awards and Conference brought together leaders from technology, engineering, academia and industry at the Santa Clara Convention Center to celebrate the outstanding achievements and contributions of Asian American engineers and scientists.
The 2025–2026 AAEOY Awards and Conference was held on September 19, 2026.
Organized by the Chinese Institute of Engineers – USA (CIE-USA), AAEOY recognizes professionals whose leadership, innovation and technical accomplishments have made significant contributions to their industries and communities.
Among this year's prominent honorees were Lip-Bu Tan, CEO of Intel Corporation, and Arun Majumdar, Dean of the Stanford Doerr School of Sustainability. They joined an accomplished group of award recipients representing leading companies and institutions across technology, engineering, research and life sciences.

A total of 17 honorees were recognized during the awards ceremony, representing organizations including Intel, Stanford University, NVIDIA, Western Digital, Samsung Electronics, Gilead Sciences, Bosch, LG, Perplexity AI and Boeing.
The conference also featured discussions on artificial intelligence, emerging technologies, engineering leadership and the future of innovation. Industry executives, entrepreneurs, researchers and professionals exchanged perspectives on how advances in engineering and technology are transforming industries and society.
The evening awards banquet highlighted the achievements of the honorees and brought together industry leaders, professionals and community representatives. Beyond recognizing professional excellence, AAEOY continues to showcase the contributions of Asian American engineers and scientists while encouraging future generations to pursue careers in science, technology, engineering and mathematics.
