Illinois-based businesses can now access Acentec's new Sexual Harassment Prevention Training, which meets the latest state regulations. The training is mandatory for all Illinois employees, including part-time and short-term employees, interns, and even independent contractors who work on-site or interact with employees.
Illinois Governor J.B. Pritzker signed the Workplace Transparency Act in August 2019, amending the Illinois Human Rights Act. The Act requires all employers in Illinois to provide annual sexual harassment training to their employees starting in 2020. The aim is to create a safe and harassment-free workplace.
