VILLA PARK, Calif. - Californer -- Acentec Launches New Sexual Harassment Prevention Training for Illinois Businesses
Illinois-based businesses can now access Acentec's new Sexual Harassment Prevention Training, which meets the latest state regulations. The training is mandatory for all Illinois employees, including part-time and short-term employees, interns, and even independent contractors who work on-site or interact with employees.
Illinois Governor J.B. Pritzker signed the Workplace Transparency Act in August 2019, amending the Illinois Human Rights Act. The Act requires all employers in Illinois to provide annual sexual harassment training to their employees starting in 2020. The aim is to create a safe and harassment-free workplace.
Acentec's HR experts have designed the training course to meet the latest statewide regulations, based on the list provided by the Illinois Department of Human Rights and the Public Act 101-0221, also known as the Workplace Transparency Act, S.B. 75, and Section 2-109 of the Illinois Human Rights Act.
