Airport Industry Professionals Meet in Long Beach for 2023 ACI-NA Annual Conference

Long Beach, CA ~ The Airports Council International – North America (ACI-NA) will be holding its 2023 Annual Conference & Exhibition from Saturday, Sept. 30 to Tuesday, Oct. 3 at the Long Beach Convention and Entertainment Center in Long Beach, California. The event is being hosted by Long Beach Airport (LGB) with executive level sponsors Areas USA, HMSHost, Hudson, Lyft, PS, Ricondo and SSP America.

Long Beach Mayor Rex Richardson expressed his delight in welcoming attendees of the ACI-NA Annual Conference and Exhibition. "This is an opportunity to showcase our city and our award-winning Long Beach Airport and build connections among those in the business of advancing travel, tourism and trade locally and nationwide" he said.

The conference programming for this year's event is titled "Our Journey Together" which will focus on emerging trends and opportunities that will drive the future of the airport industry. It is expected to draw more than 2,000 industry experts from throughout North America to Long Beach. The keynote address will be given by Zanny Minton Beddoes, editor-in-chief of The Economist who will provide insights into global economic and geopolitical trends affecting travel trends around the world. Avelo Airlines Founder, Chairman, and CEO Andrew Levy will join as the closing keynote speaker to discuss the future of air service and the industry's rebound following the pandemic.

ACI-NA President and CEO Kevin M. Burke commented on this year's conference saying "Throughout our industry's storied history, ACI-NA has always been a part of the path forward. We are proud of our reputation as a forum to help the industry solve tough challenges and create new opportunities."

The 2023 ACI-NA Annual Conference & Exhibition comes at a momentous time for Long Beach Airport which is about to mark its 100th anniversary on November 26th 2023. Airport Director Cynthia Guidry said "We're hosting this conference in our sunny beachside city at an opportune time as LGB nears its 100th year as the oldest municipal airport in California... I cannot think of a better place and time for these ACI-NA conference attendees to visit Long Beach."

The event features an expansive trade show floor with more than 150 exhibitors showcasing their latest products and innovations enhancing the airport experience while attendees gain access to more than 250 booths displaying their products or services.
