Anton brings on veteran talent to expand the company's reach
into greater southwestern region.

SAN DIEGO - Californer -- Anton, a leading West Coast multifamily developer, owner, and operator, announced Michael Yanicelli has been named managing director of development, Southern California and Phoenix.
"Having Michael onboard is an exciting move in Anton further committing to the greater southwest region," said Luke Daniels, Anton's president of Southern California Development. "He's bringing a depth of knowledge and experience with him, and we're eager to have a leader of his caliber expand the company's operations."
As managing director, Yanicelli will be responsible for development-related activities, including site selection, acquisition, capitalization, due diligence, entitlements, design, permitting, and project management. Michael will provide leadership in strategic planning and help manage Anton's Southern California and Phoenix development platform.

Yanicelli has worked for top industry firms throughout his 15-year career, most recently serving as senior vice president of Southern California and Phoenix for StreetLights Residential, a private national multifamily development company. Before StreetLights, Yanicelli worked for Alliance Residential Company, opening the company's office in San Diego as managing director and division partner. He has sourced and closed development properties with combined capitalization of $1.3 billion, leading teams responsible for the development process from sourcing to lease-up.

"Anton's unparalleled growth and commitment to its mission of providing housing makes it an exciting and meaningful company to be a part of."
Yanicelli earned his Bachelor of Science in Geology and Physics from Southern Methodist University, and a Masters of Business Administration from The University of Texas at Austin.
