Local Poway company, CCS Global Tech, to host avocado giveaway to support local charities Saturday, February 29th in Old Poway Park
POWAY, Calif. - Californer -- CCS Global Tech, a locally owned and operated tech company, is hosting an avocado giveaway Saturday, February 29th from 10am to 3pm at Old Poway Park. The public is invited to come by the park, get a bag of locally grown, organic avocados, and help support local charities. The event is free, but donations are requested. Proceeds will go to STAR/PAL, Best Buddies, Classics 4 Kids, us4warriors, Veteran Employment Committee, Junior Deputies Association, and Poway Senior Center.
The avocados are sourced from Raminder Singh, CCS Global Tech's owner and founder, who grows them in his orchard near Poway. An avid gardener and orchardist, Mr. Singh is delighted to share his harvest with the community and support local nonprofit organizations.
