CAMARILLO, Calif. - Californer -- Author and artist Irma Linda Hersel announces the continued success of her debut children's book, Where Nopalitos Grow, a bilingual picture book inspired by her childhood memories in her grandmother's village in Mexico. Now available in paperback and Kindle, the book was recently named a finalist in the 2024 Best Book Awards by American Book Fest.

Written for readers ages 4–9, Where Nopalitos Grow follows a young boy named Roberto as he dreams of his abuelita's warm and magical home.
