ANAHEIM, Calif. - Californer -- Bennett Awards is proud to announce its partnership with VidCon in designing and producing the inaugural VidCon Hall of Fame awards, unveiled during the convention's highly anticipated opening ceremony on June 21, 2025, in Anaheim.
Created to celebrate YouTube creators who have shaped the digital media landscape, the VidCon Hall of Fame recognizes trailblazers who have captivated audiences and pioneered the creator economy. Among the first inductees were iconic figures such as Hank Green, Rhett & Link, Grace Helbig, Tyler Oakley, Joey Graceffa, Rosanna Pansino, and Smosh's Anthony Padilla and Ian Hecox—all of whom have been instrumental in building the global online video community.
When VidCon approached Bennett Awards, they had a clear vision: an award that would reflect the excitement, prestige, and festive spirit of the event—while prominently featuring the VidCon logo. To bring this to life, Bennett Awards engineered a stunning sparkling gold award, set against a brushed silver background, that blends artistry with precision. Made from waterjet-cut machined aluminum, each piece was powder-coated in metallic gold, including the base, to create a sleek, celebratory aesthetic.

"The VidCon logo was the heart of the design," said Rachel Rus, the project manager from Bennett Awards. "Its free-floating letterforms posed a unique engineering challenge, which we solved by merging innovative structural support with clean, minimalist design—resulting in a captivating 3D piece that honors the boldness and creativity of digital legacy."
Held annually since 2010, VidCon is the world's largest celebration of online video, uniting fans, creators, and industry professionals. This year, VidCon introduced the Hall of Fame to mark YouTube's 20th anniversary, honoring creators who've left an enduring mark on digital culture. The combined reach of the inaugural class exceeds 83 million followers—a testament to their influence and longevity. With an estimated 55,000 attendees at VidCon this year, the inaugural Hall of Fame ceremony was the perfect event to cap off a weekend of enthusiasm and support for the craft of video content creation, not to mention honoring 20 years of YouTube reaching viewers worldwide.
