Parents Anonymous® Inc. and California Parent & Youth Helpline Host a Stand With Families Event to Address Help San Bernardino Families Address COVID-19
SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. - Californer -- On June 23rd and 24th, Parents Anonymous® Inc. and the California Parent & Youth Helpline will be hosting four events located in four different locations in the San Bernardino area, where they will be distributing emergency money, face coverings and a new publication Stand with Families from the Governor to address the COVID-19 Crisis. During this two-day event, 600 pre-selected Parents and all their Children & Youth will receive a gift card, face coverings and a Stand with Families publication.

What: San Bernardino families who have been pre-selected will have the opportunity to receive their $50 gift card to Food 4 Less (for diapers or food), face coverings for everyone in the family, and a Stand with Families Booklet (available in English and Spanish), at one of the four locations and times on June 23rd and 24th.
The California Parents & Youth Helpline provides trauma-informed, Evidence-Based emotional support and resource referral, 7 days a week from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm by trained Helpline Advocates. at 855-4A-PARENT (855-427-2736). Their services are available in English and Spanish. Virtual Weekly Evidence-Based support groups are also available. Parents Anonymous® advocates that Asking for Help is a Sign of Strength®.
