EDMONTON, Alberta - Californer -- In her new book, The Wealthy Peasant, Shauna Madsen delivers a global story of epic proportions, inspiring readers to question and challenge the status quo and conventional views on attaining wealth and finding happiness.

From an alcoholic upbringing and sleeping on a park bench with no place to call home at the age of seventeen, Shauna reveals a life of challenges and triumphs as a single mother creating life on her terms, learning to break free from abusive relationships and toxic work environments, rising above her cancer journey and striving to succeed in business.

Shauna Madsen has been an entrepreneur for over thirty years as a mentor, business planning coach, facilitator, and branding and marketing specialist. Shauna embraced change at the start of the pandemic and has semi-retired her business interests, focusing on her writing and painting in her Edmonton studio while spending time with her husband, grandchildren and two miniature dachshunds.
