Currie had the fastest lap-times in his class, in which scientific study shows hydrated racers have improved lap times
EL SEGUNDO, Calif. - Californer -- Casey Currie, driver of the Monster Energy/Nitto equipped Class 1 Jeep, won the 2021 Mint 400 off-road race using the FluidLogic hydration system. "We pushed hard in the dust all day," said Currie. "I'm so blessed to have an amazing group of people around me, and having proper hydration was a game-changer!"
Currie had qualified first in his class and 16th overall, managing to put in the fastest lap times to win the race despite the harsh dusty conditions in the Nevada desert that weekend. Currie also had the fastest average lap times of other competitors in his class. "Extensive third-party testing has scientifically proven that when properly hydrated, racers have achieved faster lap-times in high-stress racing conditions," says Todd Hayes, RSI Inc. Motorsports and Marketing Director. "Casey understands the science that proves how proper hydration allows drivers to perform at a higher level, stay focused longer, maintain a lower heart rate, and keep refreshed after a difficult race like the Mint 400. The results of him staying hydrated in those kinds of conditions speak for themselves."

In addition to Currie's Class 1 win, Ryan Arciero finished on the podium in second place Overall in the Unlimited Truck class, driving his No. 32 Dragan Fly truck, also equipped with the FluidLogic hydration system. This is Arciero's second podium finish after adding the FluidLogic system in his race truck, taking third place in Baja this past November. "If you don't think hydration is important you are so wrong," he said. "It could be the difference between winning or just finishing a race or in some cases having to give up."
FluidLogic components have been developed and tested in the most grueling conditions possible and are currently used by off-road racing, NASCAR, IMSA, Indy Car, and other motorsports. For more information on the FluidLogic hydration system, visit www.fluidlogic.com.
