Veteran hair stylists forge partnership to bring culture and lifestyle spin to new salon launch in Union Square.
SAN FRANCISCO - Californer -- In March 2020 COJOHAUS Beauty, a salon and lifestyle beauty brand owned by power couple hair duo and style innovators Johnny Bueno and CocoAlexander, will officially open its doors with Glow-Up style lab soft-launch. The soft-launch will ignite a series of events for the COJOHAUS team to consult on color and shape while guests enjoy tea, fun photos, local art, and music.
After respectively working in iconic salons throughout their careers, the partnership Alexander and Bueno forged in 2017 became official with the signing of the lease for the salon. COJOHAUS aims to craft and create a movement in individualized, inclusive beauty and culture reminiscent of San Francisco in the '80s and '90s and to foster professional development through monthly industry nights.

Bueno, the 15-year style veteran and former owner of Johnny Bueno Studio specializes in all forms of color. Bueno anticipates sharing the range of offerings with a diverse, culture-centric audience: "Our [work ranges] from traditional and natural to edgy and eccentric structural techniques in color and design shape. We believe everyone is beautiful. You don't need to be a model to have a paparazzi moment; we'll give it to you. We love hair, but we also love dramatics, photography, and capturing our [client's aesthetic] in video. We take you from drab to fab."
CoCoAlexander, a 13-year veteran in hair styling who also considers himself an artist has been published by 7Hues Magazine, styled for editorial shoots, and worked New York's fashion shows. CocoAlexander specializes in creating tailored looks for clientele: "We are detailed in our work and particular in presentation. We'd like to craft a space that embraces all beauty and create truly individual looks for all people.
