Comparably's inaugural list of the Top 100 Best Brands features companies across diverse industries spanning technology, retail, and consumer goods to media & entertainment, food & beverage, and travel & hospitality. Based solely on customer feedback provided on Comparably.com over the past year (August 2020 through August 2021), the rankings were determined by hundreds of thousands of ratings in several key areas, including: quality of the product or service, ROI, customer service, overall satisfaction with the company, loyalty, and NPS (Net Promoter Score - how likely they are to recommend the company/brand to a friend).
The launch of Best Brands complements Comparably's annual Best Places to Work series which recognizes top-rated CEOs and companies in 16 different categories throughout the year. It also adds to a list of product features and tools that help both job seekers and employers, from 15 million employee reviews across 70,000 companies to frequent workplace culture studies.
