PASADENA, Calif. - Californer -- Dr. Jonathan V. Llamas, DNP, RN-BC, PMHNP-BC, PHN, has been inducted as a Fellow of the American College of Health Data Management (FACHDM), recognizing his commitment to advancing healthcare innovation, data-informed practice, and improved patient outcomes through healthcare leadership, education, and evidence-based care.
The FACHDM designation is among the profession's highest honors in health data management and analytics and recognizes healthcare professionals and individuals who have demonstrated exceptional leadership, scholarship, and service in advancing the collection, management, analysis, and application of health data to improve public health and healthcare outcomes. Fellows of the College are selected through a rigorous peer-review process that acknowledges sustained professional achievement and contributions to the discipline.
As a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, Dr. Llamas has dedicated his career to expanding access to high-quality mental healthcare while promoting innovation, measurable outcomes, and patient-centered care. Beyond clinical practice, he contributes through mentorship, professional education, and healthcare leadership focused on empowering clinicians to improve care through evidence and data.

As part of his doctoral work at Loma Linda University, Dr. Llamas developed and implemented the LOWLINE model, an evidence-based framework designed to reduce the use of physical restraints in the inpatient psychiatric setting while promoting safer and more compassionate patient care.
