LOS ANGELES & NEW YORK - Californer -- At the precise moment the final WAV master of SEMINAL was rendered and submitted to distributors, Sidow Sobrino received a phone call from his husband and creative collaborator, Richard, delivering news that changed the emotional tenor of the evening: country music titan Dolly Parton had passed away at age 80.

For Sobrino, the unrivaled artist behind the registered trademark The World's No.1 Superstar®, the convergence carried unusual gravity. The completion of a 12-song LP centered on courage, perseverance, and artistic determination coincided with the passing of an entertainer whose career embodied many of those qualities.

"When Richard called me with the news, the gravity hit me instantly," says Sobrino. "Artists don't choose the timing of these spiritual handoffs. To finish an album named after courage and history on the exact day we lost a giant reminds us that creating music is a solemn duty. You keep going, you honor those who paved the way, and you offer your absolute best to the world."

The loss affected the couple deeply during the week of their seventh wedding anniversary, celebrated August 24. Both grew up admiring Parton's unmistakable charisma, talent, humor, and presence across music, television, and film. With SEMINAL completed the following day, another celebration became a quiet evening of reflection as they revisited her songs, videos, performances, and films.

Those memories also carried a creative dimension for Richard. Parton's fusion of personality, storytelling, music, and screen presence has inspired the art he contributes alongside his Global Icon husband. Richard provides background vocals on Sobrino's music and assumes supporting roles in his cinematic videos. Most recently, he portrays Balthazar, the Royal Butler, opposite Sobrino's Supreme Sorcerer in the Electronic and Dance-Pop single "Under Your Spell."

The title SEMINAL draws inspiration from SAG-AFTRA President Fran Drescher's defining address during the historic industry strike. Across 12 tracks, the LP combines Electronic, Dance-Pop, and Disco with driving synths, kinetic rhythms, and club-ready production.

Its visual catalog has also received international festival recognition. "Dangerous Joy" earned recognition in India, "ROME-ANTICS" entered selections connected to Berlin and London, and "Bad Boy's Wild Ride" extended Sobrino's work through the international festival circuit.

The official release date for SEMINAL remains deliberately undisclosed as a surprise for audiences worldwide.

Sidow Sobrino and Richard extend their deepest condolences to Dolly Parton's family, loved ones, friends, collaborators, goddaughter Miley Cyrus, and generations touched by her extraordinary life and work. Her artistry, generosity, and singular contribution to entertainment leave an enduring legacy.
