HoloBuilder and AECOM sign an enterprise agreement that allows the world's premier infrastructure consulting firm to deploy the leading Construction Progress Management solution organization-wide.
SAN FRANCISCO - Californer -- HoloBuilder, Inc., the leading solution provider for Construction Progress Management with 360° photo capture technology, is welcoming the world's premier infrastructure consulting firm AECOM as an enterprise customer. After successfully capturing and managing several major construction management projects in 360° with HoloBuilder, AECOM decided to roll out the solution enterprise-wide on hundreds of projects around the globe. It is being used for progress management, health & safety monitoring, creation of as-built records, risk mitigation, and provision of remote site access.
"The HoloBuilder team and solution has provided AECOM with an unwavering, innovative delivery mechanism as a conduit for a cost-effective and collaborative solution between all stakeholders, ultimately helping to drive costs down for our clients and service sectors across the globe," says Brent Payne, AECOM's vice president, global EPCM program director.
The enterprise agreement between AECOM and HoloBuilder goes back to a successful collaboration between the companies since 2016. AECOM decided to implement HoloBuilder's Construction Progress Management platform because it allows for a quick, easy, and efficient way of capturing large amounts of visual information that becomes instantly accessible from anywhere. Integrations with all best-in-class 360° cameras and further third-party construction software tools make the technology easy to adopt and implement across construction teams.

"The world has changed – we are stepping into the unknown. We have to do so with all the available tools at our disposal – technology such as HoloBuilder is fundamental to this," says Michael Moller, a project manager at AECOM. "With HoloBuilder, our stakeholders gain remote access to our construction management projects all over the world and can see all details of the current and historical progress in 360°. This has proven to be of tremendous value. We're excited to scale this key technology across our company."
"AECOM is actively expanding the use of HoloBuilder into both our environmental and asset management projects. Any project where we put boots on the ground, we can now put cameras in hands to add an immersive field perspective as part of the digital delivery to our clients and their stakeholders," says Brian Reever, AECOM's vice president and global digital leader, Transport. "Our internal case studies have shown that employees find this software makes their daily project deliverables easier to manage with less time and cost spent doing so."
The 24/7 access to a digital progress record on the HoloBuilder platform allows for more accurate visual reporting, safety observations, an enhanced level of reporting, and a more immersive progress management experience. Centralized access to progress information through the Enterprise Dashboard with permission-based access management and progress analytics enables for efficient and secure progress management in a corporation the size of AECOM.
