POMONA, Calif. - Californer -- IEI Technology USA Corp. today announced the TANK-XM813, a high-performance, fanless embedded computer designed for next-generation Edge AI and industrial computing. Powered by Intel® Core™ Ultra Processors (Series 2) on the LGA1851 socket, the system supports up to 65 W TDP and integrates Intel® AI Boost (NPU) to accelerate AI inference and intelligent edge workloads.
Built on Intel's latest Core™ Ultra platform, the TANK-XM813 combines CPU, integrated NPU, and Intel® Arc™ graphics (available on select SKUs) to deliver efficient hybrid AI acceleration, enhanced multitasking, and 4K visualization. The platform provides scalable performance to support applications such as machine vision, transportation systems, medical imaging, and factory automation.
To meet evolving industrial requirements, the TANK-XM813 features a modular and scalable architecture with optional backplanes and eChassis expansion modules. The system supports flexible PCIe expansion for GPU accelerators, frame grabber cards, AI inference cards, and industrial I/O, allowing system integrators to customize configurations without redesigning the base system. A dual-power input architecture ensures stable power delivery for both the host system and high-performance add-on cards.
More on The Californer
The system is housed in a rugged, fanless aluminum chassis designed for silent and reliable operation in harsh environments. It supports -20°C to 60°C operating temperatures, wide 12–28 V DC input, and industrial-grade shock and vibration resistance. An optional external fan kit is available to maintain peak performance under sustained high CPU or GPU workloads.
Connectivity options include dual 2.5GbE LAN ports, multiple USB and serial interfaces, optional 2.5GbE PoE+ expansion for powering cameras and sensors, and support for PCIe Gen 4 x4 NVMe storage for high-speed data access. Multi-display output is supported through DisplayPort, HDMI, and USB4 interfaces.
