The brand was inspired by a dream Smith had back in 2017. Smith says, "you can either stay asleep and dream or wake up and bring your dreams to life".
Smith's philosophy is to "educate consumers on our fashion waste, by helping make better sustainable choices within our wardrobe". Meaning "wish" in Italian, Voglia Swim's wish is for a cleaner, healthier, better world which starts by cleaning up our oceans, waterways, beaches and saving marine life. Swimsuits are made from Econyl(R) a regenerated nylon made from ghost fishing nets.
