LAS VEGAS, Jan. 8, 2025 ~ As the annual Consumer Electronics Show (CES) kicks off in Las Vegas, one company is noticeably absent from the bustling convention floor. JackRabbit, the creators of the ultra-compact and ultra-portable micro ebike, has confirmed that they will not be attending this year's event.
According to CEO Jason Kenagy, this decision was not due to a lack of innovation or relevance. In fact, he believes that JackRabbit would be a perfect fit for the mega-sized tech show. However, Kenagy explains that CES can be overwhelming and chaotic, making it difficult for their product to stand out among the 175,000 attendees.
"It's not that we wouldn't love to showcase JackRabbit on a global stage like CES," Kenagy stated. "But at some point, you have to ask yourself: Is this worth weaving through crowds of people just to explain our product?"
And it's true – CES is known for its massive crowds and hectic atmosphere. From navigating through smoke-filled casinos to struggling with logistics in getting from one place to another, it's no wonder why JackRabbit has decided to skip out on the event this year.

But in a way, JackRabbit may actually be the perfect product for CES. With its lightweight design starting at just 24 lbs and top speeds of 20 mph, it's compact enough to maneuver through crowded spaces and easily fit into any hotel room. However, instead of showcasing their product at the convention center, JackRabbit is choosing to connect with people who appreciate micromobility innovation on their own terms.
For those who are curious about what JackRabbit has to offer, they can visit their website at www.jackrabbit.bike. The company boasts being named "Most Useful eBike" and partnering with over 200 dealers including well-known brands like SCHEELS and Specialized. With a growing fanbase of over 60,000 "Jackos," it's clear that JackRabbit is making a name for itself in the world of micromobility.
So while other companies may be vying for attention on the convention floor, JackRabbit is content with riding stress-free and connecting with their audience in a more intimate setting. As their slogan says, JackRabbit may be perfect for CES, but they're smart enough to skip it.
