Jazz at St. Andrews Community Music Festival Is Back in Los Angeles for Their Annual Jazz Festival
Celebrating the History and Culture of Jazz
LOS ANGELES, July 10, 2022 – The annual Jazz festival (https://www.jazzatstandrews.com/) at St. Andrews Recreation Center is back for another year. Join us July 10, 2022 from 11am – 5pm PDT for cool prizes, games, live jazz bands and vendors. This festival is presented by the City of Los Angeles and co-hosted by Councilmember Marqueece Harris-Dawson (https://www.marqueeceharris-dawson.com/) and the Empowerment Congress Southwest Area Neighborhood Development Council. Some activities will include a singing and dancing competition, face painting, and a variety of games. There will be live performances by Mike Phillips, Melena (https://melena.com/biography-1), Susan Carol (https://www.facebook.com/susancarolmusicdotcom/), Soulful of Noise (https://soulfulofnoise.com/), and the Washington Prep High School (https://washingtonprephs-lausd-ca.schoolloop.com/) alumni jazz band. This annual family-friendly event celebrates the tradition of jazz and will include a Children's Village to help keep children busy with fun and creative activities. The Vendors Village will include representatives from local governments and non-profits offering resource information and food trucks and merchants offering a variety of food and merchandise for purchase.
