LOS ANGELES - Californer -- Los Angeles author and creator Akili D. Hight showcased LUCID Futurism® at LA Comic Con 2026, held October 30 through November 1 at the Los Angeles Convention Center.

Featured in the event's official Artists and Creators lineup, Hight presented his science-fantasy novel, LUCID: Life Ultimately Continues in Dreams, original merchandise, and the debut issue of a comic book expanding the story's universe.

The novel follows Evan Wheat, a young man whose journey into a dream-born reality explores consciousness, identity, cultural memory, and human potential.

The convention also brought meaningful encounters with returning readers and customers from the previous year. Several shared their experiences with the novel, offered feedback, and continued supporting the independent creative brand.
