Long Beach, CA ~ The City of Long Beach is gearing up for its annual Howl-o-ween Festival at the El Dorado Nature Center. This year's event, organized by the Department of Parks, Recreation and Marine (PRM), will take place on Saturday, Oct. 18 from 2 to 6 p.m.
According to Mayor Rex Richardson, the festival is celebrating its tenth year of bringing Halloween fun to the beautiful trails of the El Dorado Nature Center. "Our Howl-O-Ween Festival offers a unique experience for families to celebrate Halloween while enjoying the beauty of our natural surroundings," he said.
Attendees are encouraged to dress up in their favorite spooky costumes and embark on a hair-raising trick-or-treating adventure through the Nature Center trails. In addition to trick-or-treating, there will be plenty of family-friendly activities such as visiting the animal education village, listening to spine-chilling stories from South Coast Storytellers, and bouncing around in the Opossum Patch.
