LoveSetMatch Receives LA County Commendation for Service and Community Impact

MONTEREY PARK, Calif. - Californer -- Los Angeles, CA – LoveSetMatch, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to empowering youth through tennis, fitness, and education, has been awarded a Commendation from Los Angeles County Supervisor Holly J. Mitchell.

The recognition was presented in honor of LoveSetMatch's participation in Supervisor Mitchell's 2nd District Racial Justice Learning Exchange event titled Game Changers Youth Athletes for Equity held in September 2025, where the organization provided free tennis clinics to youth at LA County's Athens Park.

"We are proud to recognize the work of organizations like LoveSetMatch that are expanding access to sports for youth, and we look forward to continuing our partnership to offer free tennis lessons at Athens Park over the next 10 weeks," said Supervisor Mitchell, Second District.

The commendation acknowledges LoveSetMatch's dedicated service to the community and the civic pride demonstrated by its contributions benefiting residents across Los Angeles County.
