Family fun is on the day's agenda at the annual community-wide festival
WALNUT CREEK, Calif. - Californer -- The Shadelands business and lifestyle center in Walnut Creek is hosting its annual community-wide summer festival, Made in the Shade, on Sunday, June 25, 2023, 11am to 3pm, at the Shadelands SportsMall, 2640 Shadelands Drive, Walnut Creek.
Free and family-friendly, Made in the Shade will feature live music, food trucks, craft beer, exhibitor booths, demonstrations, giveaways, and free & premium sports activities for young and old including rock climbing, volleyball, soccer, basketball, yoga, taekwondo, and batting cages.
Local taproom and fan favorite Calicraft Brewing Company will bring its best microbrews and spritzers to the table, and branded Made in the Shade sunglasses will go to the first 1,000 festival attendees.

Shadelands businesses and nonprofits are encouraged to showcase their organizations with a table at the community-wide Made in the Shade festival, which drew close to 5,000 festival goers last year. Logos and website URLs will be linked to the Made in the Shade interactive map.
