COSTA MESA, Calif., May 20, 2025 ~ Costa Mesa, Calif. - Eleven years ago, designer Lily Magaziner embarked on a journey to create a boutique jewelry studio in Costa Mesa, Calif. Today, that venture has blossomed into May Martin, a thriving handmade jewelry brand with four locations across Orange County and plans for further expansion.
Founded in 2014, May Martin has evolved from a single brick-and-mortar storefront into a vibrant creative hub for handcrafted jewelry that is built to last. Each piece is thoughtfully designed and made by hand in the company's Costa Mesa studio, using materials sourced and sampled in the United States. The brand has gained recognition for its gold-filled designs and is now expanding its line to include sterling silver options while maintaining its commitment to quality craftsmanship.
With two stores in Costa Mesa, one in Laguna Beach, and a newly opened fourth location at River Street Marketplace in San Juan Capistrano, May Martin's pieces are also available through over 800 wholesale partners nationwide.
Magaziner's passion for jewelry making began during her time in Florence, Italy. Her career has spanned working with global brands such as Harley-Davidson and Tommy Bahama, as well as creating private label designs for QVC and HSN. Her unique style, which combines European technique with California coastal inspiration, is evident in every piece of May Martin jewelry. Magaziner's attention to detail and use of premium materials sourced from the United States have helped establish the brand's reputation for accessible yet timeless everyday pieces.
