Calix Broadband Platform and netElastic's virtual routing solutions enable service providers to simplify their broadband networks and lower the total cost of ownership
SANTA CLARA, Calif. - Californer -- netElastic, a leading provider of virtual routing solutions, has teamed up with Calix to deliver Carrier-Grade Network Address Translation (CGNAT) and virtual routing solutions to broadband service providers (BSPs). This partnership enhances and expands the capabilities of the Calix Broadband Platform, providing additional options to simplify IP address management, optimize network performance, and reduce the network's total cost of ownership.
BSPs may face significant challenges as they expand their subscriber base and scale their networks. These challenges include IPv4 address depletion and transitioning to IP dual-stack operations. Transitioning from a traditional access network infrastructure can further exacerbate these obstacles.
