SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. - Californer -- Non Emergency Medical Transportation Accreditation Commission (NEMTAC) welcomes Dan Reid onto its Board of Directors. NEMTAC is a private, non-profit organization serving as the ANSI Accredited Standards Developer for the non-emergency medical transportation industry.

His leadership and industry expertise will be a valued asset as we continue our focus on developing American National Standards Institute (ANSI) standards and accrediting exceptional NEMT organizations across the country.", Effie Carlson, NEMTAC's Board President."
Since its inception, Dan Reid has served as the Compliance and Regulatory Advisory Board co-chair. He is the President and Managing Member of Grove Transit, one of Mississippi's largest privately owned non-emergency transportation companies. As a NEMTAC accredited organization, the company operates a fleet of 25 NEMT vehicles providing wheelchair and sedan transportation throughout the Mississippi Pine Belt and Gulf Coast Areas.

"I am very excited to join NEMTAC's Board of Directors. The pace of technology improvements and operational changes in the NEMT industry has moved at warp speed, and I only see that trend continuing," said Dan Reid. Dan further stated that "NEMTAC's commitment to program integrity positions it as the force of change that benefits transportation providers, health plans, regulators, and most importantly, our passengers, as the NEMT industry expands into important new areas such as the impact of overall health outcomes associated with social determinants of health."
