Summer Pop-Up Event Focuses on Educational Fun for Communities
OAKDALE, Calif. - Californer -- On Saturday, July 18, the Swim Up Hill Foundation partnered with the City of Oakdale to host a Community Pool Day at Royse Memorial Pool, bringing families together for a day of water safety education, swim instruction, and community connection.
Thanks to the generous support of our sponsors, attendees enjoyed tamales from Taqueria Las Chaparritas, hydration packets from Nuun Hydration, and backpack giveaways provided by Health Plan of San Joaquin. Throughout the event, Swim Up Hill instructors led swim lessons and introduced families to the Foundation's signature Swim Bowl Method, demonstrating foundational water safety and water immersion skills through engaging, land-based instruction.
